
Service Stream books $163.4M FY26 EBITDA

Service Stream (ASX:SSM) reported a full-year EBITDA of $163.4 million and net profit of $81.1 million for the year ended June 30.
Group total revenue of $2.48 billion was favourable to the prior year as utility, transport and early-stage defence operations provided a cumulative benefit.
"The business expanded its total addressable markets, successfully securing and mobilising several new contractual agreements across the defence, water and industrial sectors as it continues to diligently execute its value creation strategy," said Service Stream Managing Director Leigh Jurisic.
The essential network services provider secured over $3.2 billion in new contracts over initial terms, pushing total work-in-hand to $8.2 billion while ending the period with a net cash balance of $80.7 million.
The board declared a final fully franked dividend of 3.5 cents per share, bringing its total dividend to 6.5 cents per share.
The company stated that its earnings growth will continue to be driven by incremental contributions from recently mobilised contracts across the utility, transport, and defence sectors.
Service Stream operates as an essential network services provider across Australia, delivering design, construction, and maintenance services to telecommunication, utility, and transport sectors.
Following the announcement, the Service Stream share price was up at $2.60.
