- The board has appointed Alex Fabbri as interim CEO while initiating a search for a permanent leader.
Sequoia Financial Group (ASX:SEQ) CEO Garry Crole has resigned effective immediately after leading the firm.
The leadership change comes after Crole spent over four decades working across the broader financial services industry.
"It has been a privilege to lead Sequoia," said Sequoia Financial Group CEO Garry Crole.
Chief People Officer Floriane Allard joined the board on an annual salary of $211,300 plus superannuation and up to a 25% bonus.
Following the announcement, the Sequoia Financial Group share price was unchanged at $0.12.
The board stated that the leadership depth supports continuity and positions the business for renewal during its next growth phase.
Sequoia continues to search for a permanent chief executive officer across both internal and external candidates.
