Ryman Healthcare reports 325 quarterly property sales
- Ryman Healthcare reported 325 sales of retirement living occupation rights agreements for the first quarter ended June 30.
- The company's net resale contract volumes rose 7% compared to the same period last year.
- Strong customer demand for serviced apartments and ongoing stock reductions are supporting the business goals.
Ryman Healthcare (ASX:RYM) reported 325 sales of retirement living occupation right agreements for the quarter ended June 30, driven by a 7% increase in net resale contract volumes.
The resale volumes remained consistent with the same period last year and matched the company's previous trading update from May.
“Resales have held up despite the external impacts of global events on housing market conditions,” said Ryman Healthcare CEO Naomi James.
The company stated that its new sales stock was reduced by 65 units to 414 units as it tracks towards a FY29 cash release target of NZ$500 million.
Following the announcement, the Ryman Healthcare share price was down at $1.78.
Ryman continues to develop properties across its portfolio, including 15 townhouses at the Patrick Hogan Village that were released for pre-sale during the period.
The business also maintains an average incoming refundable accommodation deposit value of over $750,000 across its Australian operations while managing approximately 4,700 aged care beds.
