Rumble Resources (ASX:RTR) announced operational progress at its Western Queen Project, targeting a final decision to mine in the December quarter of 2026.

The update shows progress on site preparation compared to the previous scoping study released in November 2025.

"We continue to progress all the workstreams required to get Western Queen into production, including completing all the necessary studies, engagement with underground mining and road haulage contractors, advancing operational readiness and project financing," said Rumble Resources Managing Director and CEO Peter Harold.

The company reported that pipework for pit dewatering has arrived on site and noted plans to issue an updated scoping study in October to secure debt terms.

Rumble Resources stated that project debt providers are awaiting the updated study before delivering indicative term sheets.

Following the announcement, the Rumble Resources share price was down at $0.048.
