Regis Healthcare CEO steps down

Regis Healthcare (ASX:REG) announced that Dr Linda Mellors will resign as CEO and Managing Director after more than six years at the helm, to pursue a career opportunity in an unrelated sector.

Mellors, who joined Regis in late 2019, will remain in her role during a six-month notice period while the Board conducts a search for her successor.

Regis Chairman Graham Hodges praised her leadership, noting that she guided the company through significant transformation, including the Royal Commission into Aged Care, the COVID-19 pandemic, and recent reforms under the new Aged Care Act, leaving the business in a strong financial and operational position.

Mellors expressed pride in the company's achievements and thanked staff for their dedication, highlighting strategic investments that have positioned Regis for continued growth.
