Aged care giant Regis Healthcare (ASX:REG) has appointed Andrew Kinkade as its next Managing Director and CEO, ending a high-stakes search for new leadership.

Kinkade, who currently heads Bupa Villages & Aged Care Australia, brings a wealth of regional expertise as a board director for Bupa Hong Kong and a key architect of the group’s Asia Pacific strategy.

With a background in strategy consulting at Bain & Company and Macquarie Group, Kinkade is slated to take the helm on July 20.

He succeeds Linda Mellors, who is set to conclude her notice period on June 19 following her resignation late last year.
