Rapid Critical Metals begins drilling at Webbs Silver Project

Share

Rapid Critical Metals (ASX:RCM) commenced reverse circulation drilling at its flagship Webbs Silver Project in northern New South Wales.

The company has mobilised the first of two planned drill rigs to the site to actively test the southern extension of the known Webbs ore body, alongside a recently discovered parallel lode.

The two prime targets hold significant potential to materially expand the operation's existing mineralised footprint.

The company is expanding its district-scale presence by lodging a new exploration licence application, designated ELA7053.

The application aims to secure highly prospective ground along the same north-south structural trend that hosts the nearby Webbs Consol and Tangoa prospects.

Geologists target the zone for intrusion-related, structurally controlled epithermal mineralisation, which is primarily dominant in silver, lead, and zinc.

Rapid holds a distinct competitive advantage in the area, controlling the entire western periphery of this geological formation.

Management confirmed that the company is fully funded to deliver this catalyst-rich programme, which encompasses step-out drilling, resource growth, and new target testing.

Looking ahead, a drill-ready, four-hole programme totalling 560 m is also planned for the Tangoa South prospect, pending final regulatory approvals.

At the time of reporting, Rapid Critical Metals’ share price was $0.045.
