Rapid Critical Metals (ASX:RCM) announced an expansion of its New South Wales operations by acquiring an 80% controlling interest in Green Copper.

The move grants the company full ownership of EL 9681, better known as the Tooloom Silver Project.

Situated in northern NSW, approximately 35km north of Drake, this acquisition increases Rapid's landholding in the state by nearly one-third.

The site is a historically rich silver district, spanning 121km2 and encompassing over 80 historical workings within a sophisticated, intrusion-related polymetallic system.

The Tooloom Project offers immediate exploration potential, featuring more than 21 km of strike with multiple drill-ready targets for silver, gold, copper, and antimony.

Historical drilling has already yielded impressive high-grade results, such as 1m at 341g/t AgEq at Silver King and 2m at 294g/t AgEq at Spring Gully.

Furthermore, the district remains ripe for discovery, with several high-grade surface results still untested by drilling, including exceptional silver grades reaching 1,660g/t Ag at Silver King North.

Geological similarities to the company’s existing Webbs Silver Project, located 100km to the southwest, suggest strong operational synergies.

At the time of reporting, Rapid Critical Metals' share price was $0.039.
