Prominence Energy (ASX:PRM) completed an independent review defining 202.8 Bscf of unrisked hydrogen and 9.2 Bscf of helium prospective resources at its Eyre Project in South Australia.

The assessment conducted by RISC Advisory provides the first independent quantification for the identified exploration portfolio.

Prominence Energy COO Dr Krista Davies commented, "We have moved from identifying a broad hydrogen and helium opportunity to having a quantified portfolio of 15 exploration leads containing a best-estimate unrisked prospective resources of 202.8 Bscf of hydrogen and 9.2 Bscf of helium."

The report identified upside potential across the acreage, with aggregate 3U unrisked estimates reaching 491.6 Bscf of hydrogen and 32.3 Bscf of helium.

Following the announcement the Prominence Energy share price was unchanged at $0.001.

The review evaluated 15 independently assessed leads across multiple geological plays within the permit area.

Prominence Energy plans to conduct target selection ahead of a multi-well drilling programme targeted for mid-2027.
