
Premier Investments reports $211.1M FY26 pre-tax profit
- Premier Investments recorded a statutory net profit after tax of $129.2 million and profit before tax of $211.1 million for FY26.
- The board approved a fully franked final dividend of 36 cents per share, bringing total FY26 dividends to 81 cents per share.
- Growth strategies focus on expanding retail brands Peter Alexander and Smiggle ahead of peak trading periods.
Premier Investments (ASX:PMV) reported a profit before tax of $211.1 million and a statutory net profit after tax of $129.2 million for the 52 weeks ended July 25.
Premier Retail earnings before interest and tax reached $175.9 million, meeting the guidance issued on Aug. 12.
“During 2H26, we continued to execute the strategic growth plans for both Peter Alexander and Smiggle, with significant progress made across a number of key initiatives,” said Premier Investments Chairman Solomon Lew.
Premier Retail total sales reached $795.5 million, with Peter Alexander generating $565.3 million and Smiggle adding $230.2 million.
The company stated that its balance sheet and cash reserves of $391.4 million provide flexibility to maintain brand investments and capital management initiatives, including an on-market share buy-back.
Following the announcement, the Premier Investments share price was unchanged at $11.16.
Premier Investments holds an investment in Breville Group valued at $1.08 billion based on market prices, which appears as $384.2 million on its balance sheet.
The retail operations include over 1.4 million members enrolled in the Peter’s Dreamers loyalty programme within its first 10 months of operation.
