Outdoor advertising giant oOh!media (ASX:OML) confirmed the retirement of long-standing Chair Tony Faure.
After a distinguished tenure spanning nearly 12 years on the board—including more than eight years at the helm—Faure will formally depart following the company’s annual general meeting on May 14.
Taking the reins is independent non-executive director Philippa Kelly, whose immediate elevation to chair signals a strategic focus on continuity and governance as the out-of-home sector continues its digitisation surge.
Kelly, a seasoned executive who joined the oOh!media board in 2019, brings a wealth of institutional knowledge from her current roles on the boards of AustralianSuper and River Capital.
"It has been a privilege to be entrusted with the role of chair," Faure remarked, noting his unwavering confidence in the "strength of out-of-home as a category" and oOh!media’s future as a category leader.
Under Faure’s stewardship, oOh!media successfully navigated significant industry disruptions and consolidated its footprint across Australia and New Zealand.
