Pantera Minerals (ASX:PFE) has entered into binding agreements to fully acquire the 470km2 Corona Gold Project in Western Australia.
The project covers exploration licences E28/3555 and E28/3556 in the Albany Fraser Orogen region.
The company did not publish an executive quote in its initial release.
Historical continuous gold-in-bedrock anomalies at the site extend over an 8km strike length.
Barnaby Egerton-Warburton, Executive Chairman and CEO, commented, "80% of the consideration is in Pantera shares, the royalty carries a fixed-price buyback, and our first-year spend goes into soils and drilling rather than the purchase price."
Following the announcement, the Pantera Minerals share price was unchanged at $0.015.
The company stated that the transaction expands its exploration focus alongside its existing US portfolio.
