Orange Minerals NL (ASX:OMX) announced a systematic exploration and targeting programme across its 166-square-kilometre Tepa Gold Project in Ghana.
The project sits along the eastern margin of the Sefwi Gold Belt, contrasting with previous historical work that remained limited to surface sampling.
"We have a large landholding of prospective geology that has never been systematically tested by drilling in an established gold district with extensive alluvial gold workings," said Orange Minerals Managing Director Chris Michael.
Planned activities include a 100-metre-spaced drone magnetic survey alongside geochemical mapping to outline initial drill targets.
Following the announcement, the Orange Minerals share price was unchanged at $0.06.
The company recently received Ministerial consent for the assignment of all three Tepa prospecting licences in West Africa.
Orange Minerals has since established a local field office and community engagement initiatives to support regional operations.
