OD6 Metals (ASX:OD6) announced a breakthrough at its Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada, reporting ultra-high-grade channel sampling results from the Horseshoe prospect.
The latest discovery, which saw the company's share price climb by over 10%, confirms the presence of extensive, thick, and continuous breccia-hosted mineralisation.
Results from the sampling programme include a 12-metre section averaging 68.9% CaF₂—with a peak grade of 79.7%—and a 7-metre intercept averaging 73.1% CaF₂.
The figures sit firmly within metallurgical-grade ranges, suggesting the project could support direct shipping of ore as MetSpar or be upgraded to premium AcidSpar quality (>97\% CaF₂).
The mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth, reinforcing the theory of a district-scale system.
The findings at Horseshoe follow promising assays from the nearby Mammoth prospect, where exploration in April yielded grades up to 54.0% CaF₂.
Managing Director Brett Hazelden noted that the company is now focused on refining drill targets and exploring options for bulk metallurgical samples.
Given the exceptional grades, OD6 is investigating eligibility for Fast 41 status, a US federal permitting accelerator that could drastically shorten the timeline towards production.
The modern systematic exploration programme marks the first activity at the site in approximately 60 years, potentially transforming the Quinn project into a critical mineral hub.
