NRW Holdings (ASX:NWH) announced that its subsidiaries have secured contract awards worth approximately $313 million across two Western Australian projects.

The awards build on existing operations and deliver immediate operational expansions to the company's regional order book.

"Securing the Mt Magnet Expansion project is a significant achievement for Primero and NRW Group and highlights the value of our end-to-end engineering, procurement and construction capabilities in the mining and minerals processing sector," said NRW Holdings CEO Jules Pemberton.

The contracts include processing infrastructure upgrades for Ramelius Resources (ASX:RMS) at Mount Magnet and optional civil works on the Tonkin Highway project for Main Roads Western Australia.

Following the announcement, the NRW Holdings share price was down at $7.55.

The Mount Magnet expansion involves constructing a crushing circuit and adding 3 million tonnes per annum of processing capacity for Ramelius.

In addition, the newly awarded optional works on the Tonkin Highway grade separations project increase that overall contract value to roughly $300 million.
