News Corp posts US$2.34B Q4 FY26 revenue

Media company News Corp (ASX:NWS) reported fourth-quarter revenue of US$2.34 billion, an 11% increase compared to the prior year, driven by growth in its Digital Real Estate Services, Book Publishing and Dow Jones segments.

Net income from continuing operations came to US$230 million, up 167% from US$86 million in the prior-year period.

Total segment EBITDA for the quarter was US$423 million, up from US$322 million a year earlier.

"Our record performance is a product of sustained focus on, and reinvestment in, News Corp's core growth engines and our transformation to a digital-first company underpinned by insightful and trusted content," said News Corp CEO Robert Thomson.

Full-year free cash flow rose 42% to US$811 million, allowing the company to expand its share buyback programme to US$643 million.

Following the announcement, the News Corp share price was unchanged at $46.92.

For the full fiscal year 2026, total revenue grew 7% to US$9.03 billion while net income increased 15% to US$743 million.

The company declared a semi-annual cash dividend of US$0.10 per share for Class A common stock and Class B common stock, payable on Oct. 7 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 9.

The business highlighted segment revenue gains across REA Group, Book Publishing, and Move, operator of Realtor.com.
