
Monadelphous secures $200M BHP construction contract

Monadelphous Group (ASX:MND) secured a $200 million construction contract with BHP (ASX:BHP) in Western Australia.
The agreement forms part of BHP's Port Debottlenecking Project 2 at the Nelson Point facility in Port Hedland.
“We look forward to working closely with BHP to successfully deliver PDP2 and increase port capacity,” said Monadelphous Managing Director Zoran Bebic.
Works include mechanical, electrical, and piping installation for Car Dumper 6, with completion targeted for 2028.
Following the announcement, the Monadelphous share price was up at $29.98, while BHP’s share price stood at $60.52.
Monadelphous provides engineering, construction, and maintenance services across the Australian resources, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
The business stated that the new contract reinforces its ongoing commercial relationship and operational history with BHP.
