Engineering firm Monadelphous Group (ASX:MND) has announced the award of new construction and maintenance contracts worth approximately $110 million, spanning the resources, energy, and renewable energy sectors.

The company will provide multidisciplinary maintenance services under a four-year agreement with BW Offshore Australia Management at the BW Opal Floating Production Storage and Offloading facility, located roughly 300km north-northwest of Darwin, Northern Territory, with work scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026.

Monadelphous has also been contracted by Rio Tinto to carry out modifications to the process plant at the Hope Downs 2 Project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region, with completion expected in the second half of 2026.

In Papua New Guinea, the company will undertake the demolition and disposal of Santos’ 500-metre Hegigio Pipeline Bridge in the Southern Highlands, also due for completion in the latter half of 2026.

In the renewable energy sector, Monadelphous’ joint venture Zenviron has secured a contract with Flow Power to deliver the 100/223 MWh Bennetts Creek Battery Energy Storage System in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley.

The project includes design, construction, installation, and commissioning, and is scheduled for completion in late 2027.
