  • Maronan Metals has appointed Andrew Graham as Managing Director and CEO, effective Nov. 23.
  • The company’s share price rose 3.19% to $0.485 following recent market trading.
  • The executive appointment aims to advance the company's mineral resource studies and mining lease applications in Queensland.

Maronan Metals (ASX:MMA) has appointed Andrew Graham as Managing Director and CEO, starting Nov. 23 to lead its underground metal project development.

The executive search process concludes a leadership transition initiated on 13 May 2026 as the business prepares to progress its regional operations.

"Andrew’s record in taking underground base metals projects from study through financing and into production – including Dugald River, in the same province as Maronan – makes him the right leader for that work," said Maronan Metals Chairman Simon Bird.

The company stated that the appointment will support technical workstreams, including preliminary feasibility studies, definitive feasibility studies, and a mining lease application for the Maronan Project.

Following the announcement, the Maronan Metals share price was up at $0.48.

The business is focused on advancing drilling programmes to expand its existing base and precious metals resources in North West Queensland.

Capital raised from earlier funding rounds continues to support ongoing exploration activities across the project's copper, gold, silver, and lead targets.
