Mammoth Minerals (ASX:M79) has commenced a maiden reverse circulation drilling programme at its Blue Dick prospect in Nevada to test surface mineralisation assaying up to 15,336g/t silver.
The exploration programme follows recent channel sampling results at the prospect that returned 0.20m at 17,582g/t silver, 0.75g/t gold, 2.76% copper, and 1.72% antimony.
The company stated that the campaign will evaluate high-grade silver and gold trends across a mapped cumulative strike length exceeding 6.5km that have not been subjected to modern drilling methods.
Drilling will also target untested gold zones along the Buster Trend over 700m along strike from the historical Buster Gold Mine.
The project team will additionally conduct follow-up drilling at near-mine targets around the historical Imperial Gold Mine, where past intercepts included 28.96m at 2.23g/t gold.
Following the announcement, the Mammoth Minerals share price was unchanged at $0.03.
Mammoth Minerals is an Australian exploration company actively advancing gold, silver, and copper targets across Nevada, South Dakota, Canada, and Peru.
