  • Lion Energy has ceased its green hydrogen operations to concentrate on core oil and gas assets.
  • Equipment sales from the business exit are expected to yield $400,000 in net proceeds.
  • Reallocated capital will fund the upcoming Bula Karang-1 exploration well programme in Indonesia.

Lion Energy (ASX:LIO) has ceased its hydrogen operations to recover $400,000 in net equipment sales.

The decision follows changing commercial conditions and partner withdrawals from the Port of Brisbane project.

The company has now formally concluded all ongoing lease obligations at the Port of Brisbane site.

Management stated that the exit allows resources to focus on its core Indonesian oil activities.

Following the announcement, the Lion Energy share price was unchanged at $0.012.

Lion holds an operating interest in the East Seram Petroleum Sharing Contract in Indonesia.

Farmout agreements have reduced the company's financial obligations for the upcoming exploration well programme.
