Killi Resources (ASX:KLI) has commenced a maiden 20,000-metre drilling campaign to expand its 110 million tonne Lodestone Iron Ore Project.

The existing resource covers 5km of a broader 25-kilometre mineralised corridor in Western Australia's Mid-West region.

"By simply increasing the size of the resource, we stand to create substantial value for Killi shareholders," said Killi Resources Chairman Nev Power.

The company stated that drilling samples will undergo metallurgical testing to evaluate high-purity direct reduction iron potential.

Following the announcement, the Killi Resources share price was up at $0.22.

Killi Resources recently strengthened its balance sheet by raising $15 million through a share placement to fund its exploration work.

The company acquired the Lodestone asset in June 2026 due to its proximity to existing port, rail, and road infrastructure.
