- Assay results are expected within five to six weeks to verify the prospective extensions of gold mineralisation.
Indiana Resources (ASX:IDA) has commenced a planned 2,000-metre reverse circulation drilling programme at the Company Well gold prospect in South Australia.
The campaign follows previous drilling that identified gold mineralisation on a new structure off the main Lake Labyrinth Shear Zone, including 18m at 1.20 grammes per tonne of gold from a depth of 10m.
Indiana Managing Director Matthew Bowles said, "It’s great to finally have a rig back on site to follow up on the gold mineralisation defined at our Company Well prospect, after delays due to weather conditions impacting site access."
Assay results from the 2,000-metre campaign are expected five to six weeks following the completion of the programme.
Following the announcement, the Indiana Resources share price was unchanged at $0.021.
