Hydrix delivers first prototype to NIOA
- Hydrix delivered its first benchtop integration prototype for NIOA's counter-drone system.
- Share prices remained unchanged as investors processed the company's defence project update.
- Execution advances towards flight-test hardware to lower technical risk ahead of field evaluation.
Hydrix (ASX:HYD) completed the preliminary design review and delivered its first benchtop integration system to defence contractor NIOA.
The delivery follows the company's appointment by NIOA in May to supply specialised electronics for its payload programme.
"This milestone provided NIOA with a development platform that allows critical payload, platform and software interfaces to be integrated and evaluated early, reducing programme risk and accelerating progress towards flight testing," said Hydrix Director Development & Delivery Andrew Beal.
The delivered hardware supports payload integration for SYPAQ Systems' CORVO interceptor platform under Mission SYRACUSE.
Following the announcement, the Hydrix share price was unchanged at $0.003.
The technology provider continues expanding its footprint across sovereign defence technology and complex systems engineering.
The milestone allows the business to transition from preliminary system architecture directly into detailed design and prototype manufacturing.
