GreenTech Metals commences key Pilbara drilling program

Share

GreenTech Metals (ASX:GRE) commenced a high-impact reverse circulation drilling program at its Ruth Well Project in the West Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The latest exploration phase is designed to test several high-priority nickel-copper targets and follow up on promising lithium-bearing pegmatite visual observations recorded in previous field campaigns.

The rig is currently positioned to investigate electromagnetic anomalies that may indicate the presence of significant mineralisation at depth.

Executive Director Thomas Reddicliffe expressed confidence in the project's potential, stating, "We are excited to be testing these high-quality targets, which have the potential to significantly add to our existing nickel-copper resource base and further demonstrate the lithium potential of the project."

The Ruth Well Project is located near existing infrastructure, providing a clear pathway for potential future development.

Geologists are particularly focused on the northern extent of the project area, where structural mapping has identified favourable hosts for mineralised systems.

Results from this RC program will be integrated with ongoing geochemical surveys to refine the geological model.

GreenTech Metals expects to receive initial assays in the coming weeks, which will guide the next stage of exploration and resource definition across the broader Pilbara tenement holding.
