Great Northern Minerals (ASX:GNM) has identified four new exploration targets across a 3-kilometre area at its Iron Butte Gold-Silver Project in Nevada.
The discovery follows the company's report in June of a maiden inferred mineral resource containing 480,000 ounces of gold and 11.5 million ounces of silver.
The newly defined anomalies include the Iron Butte Central, Iron Butte North, Iron Butte South, and Caetano targets.
Reprocessing of historical geophysical data was used to define and prioritise these undrilled targets ahead of permitting and contractor engagement.
Following the announcement, the Great Northern Minerals share price was up at $0.033.
The company previously expanded its Nevada footprint in May by staking 46 new lode mining claims covering approximately 950 acres.
The business stated that it remains fully funded for the upcoming drilling programme with a cash balance of $3.9 million.
