GrainCorp (ASX:GNC) reconfirmed its financial year 2026 earnings guidance while announcing timeline extensions and cost updates to its core transformation programme.

The company maintained its full-year earnings outlook despite pushing back the initial deployment of its system transformation due to late-stage testing.

Release 1 of the systems upgrade now requires an additional $30 million in FY27 spend, while recent operating model changes impacted approximately 80 roles with a $5 million one-off restructuring cost in FY26.

The agribusiness expects its overall transformation initiatives to deliver $12 million in run-rate benefits by the end of FY26 and targets an EBITDA uplift of $20-$30 million by FY28.

Following the announcement, the GrainCorp share price was unchanged at $6.94.

GrainCorp is a major Australian agribusiness operating an integrated grain supply chain, bulk storage terminals, and processing facilities across eastern Australia.
