  • Corporate values remain undisclosed to the public as the infrastructure developer operates as a privately held firm.
  • The transaction supports the company's regional footprint and underwrites new renewable generation and battery storage.

Firmus Technologies signed a 12-year wholesale energy agreement for 600 megawatts to expand its South Australian infrastructure.

The regional supply commitment follows the recent selection of Tailem Bend and Stirling North for future data developments.

“We’re building our AI factories in regional South Australia because they’re the right locations,” said Firmus Technologies co-CEO Oliver Curtis.

The business stated that the agreement will support 1.2 gigawatts of new renewable generation by 2032.

Following the announcement, the Firmus Technologies share price was unchanged at private value.

The business recently formed a strategic partnership with chip supplier Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) to build an Indonesian facility.

Management intends to build a national network of data facilities across five other major Australian metropolitan centres.
