
Evolution Mining sees FY26 net profit reach $1.56B
- Evolution Mining recorded a 63% increase in underlying net profit to $1.56 billion for the 2026 financial year.
- The company increased its final dividend to 21 cents per share and updated its payout policy to 60% of group cash flow.
- Evolution stated that it expects to sustain its high-margin cash generation position in 2027 to build further balance sheet flexibility.
Evolution Mining (ASX:EVN) reported a $1.56 billion underlying net profit and increased its final dividend to 21 cents per share.
The result marked a 63% increase compared to the $958 million underlying profit recorded during the previous year. EBITDA came to $3.17 billion, up 44% at a margin of 57%.
"The record financial performance is on the back of safe, consistent and reliable operational delivery, complemented by our disciplined approach to cost and capital management," said Evolution Managing Director and CEO Lawrie Conway.
The company stated it expects to produce 660,000 to 730,000 ounces of gold with up to $325 million in sustaining capital.
Following the announcement, the Evolution Mining share price was down at $13.62, as the company stated it anticipates sustained high-margin operations.
Evolution recently transitioned from a net debt position to holding $1.34 billion in cash with no repayments due until 2029.
The cash conversion aligns with the company's broader strategy of investing in organic growth projects across its portfolio.
