Entropy Neurodynamics (ASX:ENP) reported positive Phase 2 trial results for its intravenous psilocin drug TRP-8803, showing that 100% of treatment-resistant binge eating disorder patients experienced clinical improvement for 12 weeks.

The trial targeted patients with a median 15-year history of the condition who had previously failed at least one treatment.

"Before entering the study, patients averaged 2.3 binge-eating episodes every week. Following completion of just two TRP-8803 treatments, 50% of patients did not experience a single binge-eating episode during the entire 84-day follow-up period," said Entropy Neurodynamics CEO Jason Carroll.

Half of the trial participants experienced complete remission with no binge-eating episodes during the 84-day follow-up period after receiving two infusions.

Following the announcement, the Entropy Neurodynamics share price was unchanged at $0.041.

The clinical trial also recorded a 50% reduction in anxiety, a 42% drop in depression symptoms, and a 61% improvement in patient quality-of-life metrics.

The company stated that topline results evaluating a shorter infusion period for its second trial cohort are expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
