EML Payments (ASX:EML) reported a 6% decline in full-year revenue to $206.8 million following unexpected contract delays.
The financial result fell short of expectations and drove an 18% drop in underlying annual earnings to $48.3 million.
"Much of our EML2.0 operational restructuring has been completed, and, notwithstanding that our financial performance did not meet initial forecasts for FY26, EML is a much stronger business today as a result of the team’s dedication and execution over the last 12 months," said EML Executive Chairman Anthony Hynes.
The company stated that its active new programme pipeline currently totals $109 million in potential contract value.
The company forecast underlying earnings of $50-$54 million for the coming year.
Following the announcement, the EML share price was down at $0.29.
the business finalised its corporate restructuring phase while absorbing legacy legal settlement outflows.
The company stated that future operational efforts will focus strictly on commercial execution and Arlo platform deployment.
