EML Payments (ASX:EML) appointed Adam Olding as its new Global CEO, effective immediately.
The leadership transition is a pivotal component of the company's EML 2.0 transformation program, designed to streamline global operations and accelerate the deployment of its unified technology platform, Arlo.
Olding, who has served as CEO of the Australia, UK, and Europe divisions since September 2024, recently expanded his oversight to the North American market, making his elevation to the global role a logical progression for the fintech firm.
With over 25 years of experience in payments, financial services, and corporate governance, Olding brings a wealth of expertise to the position.
His professional background includes a tenure as CEO of ZeeFi and a key leadership role at Optal, where he worked closely with current Executive Chairman Anthony Hynes.
In his new capacity, Olding will assume responsibility for day-to-day management and lead the executive leadership team in executing the company's growth priorities.
The restructure allows Executive Chairman Anthony Hynes to shift his focus toward strategic product development, broader growth initiatives—including the company’s mobility program—and enhanced investor engagement.
Hynes expressed strong confidence in the appointment, noting that Olding's leadership over the past 18 months has been instrumental in shaping the business' strategic direction.
