  • The first patient completed a two-year extension study in the DMX-200 clinical programme, reaching four total years of treatment.
  • A strong continuation rate recorded as 89 of 96 trial graduates opt into extension study.
  • Long-term data collection aims to support future global regulatory filings for kidney treatment.

Dimerix (ASX:DXB) announced that its first patient completed a two-year open-label extension study, marking four continuous years of DMX-200 treatment for focal segmental glomerulosclerosis.

The milestone follows the participant's completion of the two-year blinded trial phase before entering the optional extension study in September 2024.

The company stated that data gathered during the extended programme will support ongoing regulatory and commercial activities for the asset.

"The completion of four years of study participation by the first patient in our DMX-200 clinical programme represents an important milestone for both Dimerix and the broader FSGS community," stated Dr Nina Webster, CEO & Managing Director of Dimerix.

A total of 89 out of 96 eligible patients elected to join the extension study, representing a 93% participation rate.

Following the announcement, the Dimerix share price was unchanged at $0.24.

The broader trial programme remains active globally with 333 adult patients randomised across 219 sites in 21 countries.

The company stated that final adult patient dosing for the global study is scheduled to conclude in March 2028.
