Delta Lithium (ASX:DLI) has announced planned drill testing on six new reconnaissance targets at its Yinnetharra Project for the fourth quarter of 2026 pending regulatory approvals.

The news follows surface sampling and detailed mapping at Yinnetharra, which revealed gold in soil anomalies with rock chip samples returning grades up to 6.83 grammes per tonne.

The metallurgical testing on a one-tonne composite sample from Mt Ida is underway to produce mica, spodumene, and tantalum concentrate for refining testwork.

Following the announcement, the Delta Lithium share price was unchanged at $0.16.

The company reported holding $48.8 million in cash alongside a $125 million in ASX-listed investments as of Sept. 29.
