Deep Yellow holds $160M cash in Q4 FY26

Deep Yellow (ASX:DYL) reported a cash and cash equivalents balance of $160 million for the quarter ended June 30 as it progressed engineering works at its flagship Tumas Project in Namibia.

The company advanced detailed engineering at Tumas to 79% completion, compared to earlier stages of early-works development.

"Deep Yellow continued to advance the staged development of the Tumas Project, achieving key milestones that further de-risk execution," stated the company in its quarterly report.

Subsequent to the quarter-end, the company awarded two civil and concrete construction contracts to Namibian contractors while completing bulk earthworks at the site.

Following the announcement, the Deep Yellow share price was down at $1.36.

In Australia, the business established the King River Camp at the Alligator River Project to prepare for an August 2026 drilling campaign.

The company also executed a binding agreement to acquire Energy Resources of Australia's 50% interest in the Cooper Creek joint venture.
