
Cleanaway Waste Management posts FY26 revenue of $4.37B
- Cleanaway Waste Management reported gross revenue of $4.37 billion for the 2026 financial year, representing a 13.5% increase compared to the prior corresponding period.
- Statutory net profit after tax declined by 37.2% to $98.5 million after including $124.6 million in significant and non-recurring items.
- The company stated that underlying earnings before interest and tax are expected to range between $500 million and $530 million for the 2027 financial year.
Cleanaway Waste Management (ASX:CWY) reported gross revenue of $4.37 billion, marking a 13.5% increase from the prior year.
Net profit after tax rose to $223.1 million from $196.4 million a year earlier.
Net revenue also rose by 13.1% to reach $3.74 billion compared to the previous corresponding period.
Underlying EBIT rose 14.2% to $470.2 million, driven by solid waste services.
Statutory net profit after tax dropped 37.2% to $98.5 million due to $124.6 million in non-recurring items.
"Free cash flow improved materially in FY26. Blueprint 2030 2.0 is focused on converting earnings growth into stronger and more sustainable free cash flow and improving returns over time," stated Cleanaway CEO and Managing Director Mark Schubert.
Following the announcement, the Cleanaway share price was down at $2.59.
The company declared a fully franked final dividend of 3.5 cents per share, bringing the total dividend for FY26 to 6.85 cents per share.
Cleanaway stated that underlying earnings are expected to range between $500 million and $530 million next year.
