
Civmec secures $220 million in new contracts
- Construction group Civmec has secured new contracts and extensions worth over $220 million.
- The total value of company work in hand has increased to approximately $1.5 billion.
- Project execution will run across the 2027 and 2028 financial years.
Engineering and construction firm Civmec (ASX:CVL) has secured a series of contract awards and extensions valued at over $220 million.
The new deals lift the total order book value of the business to approximately $1.5 billion.
"The project plays directly to Civmec’s integrated, multidisciplinary capability, and it is a privilege to help establish a new, secure source of gallium right here in Western Australia," said Civmec CEO Patrick Tallon.
The agreement includes multidisciplinary construction works for Alcoa's Wagerup gallium facility, supporting up to 200 local construction jobs.
Work will be delivered across the 2027 and 2028 financial years. Following the announcement, the Civmec share price was up at $1.76.
Civmec operates across resources, infrastructure, energy, and maintenance sectors in Australia.
The company stated that early contractor involvement activities position the business for further tender opportunities.
