  • Cauldron Energy has commenced its 2026 exploration drilling campaign at the Yanrey Uranium Project in Western Australia.
  • The exploration programme immediately followed a completed heritage survey and the arrival of rigs on site.
  • The campaign aims to expand existing mineral resources and test several new discovery targets.

Cauldron Energy (ASX:CXU) has commenced an estimated 10,000-metre air-core drilling programme at its Yanrey Uranium Project.

This exploration campaign follows minor wet weather delays and builds upon a resource update delivered in February.

"Following minor delays to the commencement of drilling caused by wet weather, I am very pleased to report that drilling is underway for the 2026 season at Yanrey," said Cauldron Energy CEO Jonathan Fisher.

The company stated that operations will run for six to eight weeks, focusing heavily on the Manyingee North and Manyingee South deposits.

Following the announcement, the Cauldron Energy share price was down at $0.087.

The business recently expanded its institutional profile after being included in the Sprott Junior Uranium Miners ETF (NASDAQ:URNJ).

Cauldron currently holds a total defined uranium resource base of 55 million pounds across its flagship Western Australian asset.
