Jake Sullivan, former US national security advisor in the Biden administration, said that at some point Trump is going to have to 'bite the bullet and do a bad deal' with Iran as the country ramps up its leverage in negotiations with the United States. Sullivan also discussed Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's role in the conflict, saying that Netanyahu had come to past administrations to attempt to convince past presidents to take action against Iran.
