Boom Logistics (ASX:BOL) appointed Pieter Le Roux as its new permanent CFO, effective March 24.
The strategic hire brings over 30 years of global finance and leadership experience to the Australian lifting and project logistics provider.
Le Roux, who most recently served as CFO of Viridios Group, steps into the role following the interim tenure of Sarah Johns, who had been managing the company's financial functions since November 2025.
Le Roux boasts an extensive professional background in capital allocation, strategic planning, and operational improvement across the infrastructure, mining, and industrial sectors.
His career is highlighted by senior leadership roles at BHP Group, including a tenure as Vice President Finance for the Marketing division in Singapore.
At Boom Logistics, he will be responsible for overseeing treasury, financial reporting, and investor relations, while supporting the company's ongoing focus on strengthening its balance sheet and delivering sustainable shareholder value.
CEO and Managing Director Lester Fernandez expressed confidence in the appointment, noting that Le Roux's deep understanding of capital discipline in complex environments will be vital as the company pursues growth in the resources and energy sectors.
Chair Kieran Pryke also acknowledged the contributions of Sarah Johns, particularly her work on the H1 FY26 results.
