  • Babylon Pump & Power announced it is transitioning into a focused water management rental business following sector exits.
  • The company's specialist rental revenue is projected to expand by approximately 160% compared to last year.
  • National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) agreed to revised funding arrangements to extend credit facilities until July 2027.

Specialist resources services provider Babylon Pump & Power (ASX:BPP) executed a recapitalisation plan to advance its transition into a dedicated water management rental business.

The company stated that its fiscal year 2026 rental revenue is expected to reach approximately A$26 million, representing a growth of around 160% over the previous fiscal year.

The operational adjustments follow weak performance in the company's maintenance segment due to a subdued Queensland coal sector and a separate unsuccessful acquisition process.

Under the revised banking terms, National Australia Bank approved a waiver of principal repayments for the June and September 2026 quarters alongside the facility extension.

Following the announcement, the Babylon Pump & Power share price was unchanged at $0.078.

The business previously integrated the Blue Hire and Matrix acquisitions to drive better asset utilisation across its core water management markets.

The structural shift outlined in image_6e2c04.png comes after the completed divestment of Ausblast and a planned exit from the maintenance services sector.
