  • Avenira signed a four-year phosphate rock offstake and distribution deal with Hebang Biotechnology.
  • The contract secures a sales pathway for over 80% of the project's expected annual direct shipping ore production.
  • The agreement includes exclusive distribution rights in Mainland China alongside a market-referenced pricing structure.

Avenira (ASX:AEV) has executed a four-year phosphate rock offstake and distribution agreement with Hebang Biotechnology for product from its Wonarah Phosphate Project.

The agreement establishes an initial four-year commercial sales pathway covering 500,000 tonnes per annum of phosphate rock.

Avenira Deputy Chairman Brett Clark commented, "Securing a long-term offtake framework for 500,000 tonnes per annum represents an important commercial milestone for Wonarah and provides a substantial pathway into the Mainland China market through Hebang’s established capabilities and distribution network."

Under the terms of the deal, Hebang Biotechnology will act as the exclusive distributor for the product within Mainland China.

The contract incorporates a market-referenced pricing framework alongside a right-to-match clause that allows the company flexibility to pursue superior third-party offers outside Mainland China.

Following the announcement the Avenira share price was unchanged at $0.0060.

The Wonarah Phosphate Project represents one of the largest undeveloped phosphate deposits in Australia.
