Ausmon Resources (ASX:AOA) has started field exploration across its 341km2 Enmore tenement near Broken Hill.
The project area sits within the mineral-rich Curnamona Province, located 50km south of Broken Hill.
Field teams are collecting soil samples on a 250-metre by 250-metre grid across two main prospect areas.
Samples showing elevated base metals will be sent to an Adelaide laboratory for gold and multi-element testing.
Following the announcement, the Ausmon Resources share price was unchanged at $0.0020.
The company stated that the Enmore site sits below geology hosting the historic Broken Hill silver-lead-zinc deposit.
