Argo Investments (ASX:ARG) increased its full-year profit to $260.2 million amid volatile macroeconomic conditions.
The performance builds on the previous year's $259.8 million profit and outperformed the benchmark index return of 6.1%.
"The board intends to declare four quarterly dividends of 10 cents per share, fully franked," said Argo Investments Managing Director Jason Beddow.
The final payout includes a listed investment company capital gain component of 5 cents per share.
Following the announcement, the Argo Investments share price was unchanged at $9.21.
Founded in 1946, the company operates as one of Australia's largest listed investment companies.
The business manages a diversified portfolio focused on long-term capital growth and sustainable fully franked dividend distributions.
