Aquirian (ASX:AQN) completed its planned Wubin facility upgrades on budget during the first quarter of FY27 as it prepared to deploy Drillforce to Brightstar Resources' (ASX:BTR) Lord Byron project in October.

The updates follow a period in FY26 that established the platform required to support the business's next growth phase.

"During the quarter we completed the planned upgrades at Wubin within budget," said Aquirian Managing Director Greg Patching.

Secondary operational developments included purchasing a Hyundai D800 drill and integrating the Automated Collar Keeper System across the Drillforce fleet.

Aquirian stated that commercialisation of its Biodegradable Collar Keeper is expected in Q2.

Following the announcement, the Aquirian share price was $0.38.

The company produces technology-enabled mining equipment alongside its toll manufacturing services.
