Anson Resources completes key USA environmental survey
- Anson Resources completed environmental baseline field surveys across the western and central blocks at its Yellow Cat Project in Utah.
- The successful completion clears the approval pathway and keeps the mobilisation of Phase 2 drilling contractors strictly on schedule.
- The company aims to twin historical drill holes to convert past exploration data into a maiden JORC 2012-compliant resource estimate.
Anson Resources (ASX:ASN) has completed comprehensive environmental field surveys across the high-priority western and central blocks at its Yellow Cat Uranium-Vanadium Project in Utah.
The baseline environmental assessment verified that proposed drill pads, sumps, and access tracks comply with native habitat regulations, identifying zero environmental bottlenecks to delay operations.
The company stated that the survey data will support Notice of Intent applications submitted to the Bureau of Land Management and the Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining.
Anson plans to twin three to five historical drill holes to generate the quality control data required to upgrade past exploration figures into a JORC 2012-compliant mineral resource.
Following the announcement the Anson Resources share price was unchanged at $0.043.
The Yellow Cat Project hosts historic high-grade uranium and vanadium intercepts within sandstone formations formed by ancient paleo stream channels.
The company stated that converting the historical resource into a compliant estimate aims to increase project value before determining whether to pursue further development, strategic partnerships, or monetisation options.
