American Tungsten & Antimony (ASX:AT4) commenced a restart campaign at the Del Sol Hydromet Refinery in Nevada ahead of schedule to produce antimony flake.
The operational move follows the company's 28 July 2026 acquisition agreement to build a domestic mine-to-metal supply chain using ore from its White Spar project.
"Commencing the restart campaign at the Del Sol refinery is a critical milestone for the company. AT4 has fast-tracked the restart to demonstrate the capability of the Del Sol circuit using US-sourced material," said American Tungsten & Antimony CEO Casper Adson.
The company stated that the restart aims to enable supply discussions with United States government agencies while supporting ongoing negotiations for up to US$15 million in Department of Energy grant funding.
Following the announcement, the American Tungsten & Antimony share price was up at $0.059.
American Tungsten focuses on developing North American critical mineral supply chains, primarily targeting defence and commercial applications for antimony and tungsten.
