Airtasker (ASX:ART) announced a strategic partnership with Nine Entertainment (ASX:NEC), securing $5 million in media capital aimed at accelerating brand growth across Australia.
The collaboration grants the marketplace platform unprecedented access to Nine’s expansive media ecosystem, including national free-to-air television, the 9Now streaming service, and a premium digital publishing portfolio.
By leveraging household-name programs such as The Block, 60 Minutes, and major sporting events like the NRL Premiership and the Australian Open, Airtasker intends to cement its position in the domestic market.
The partnership comes on the heels of robust performance metrics for H1 FY26.
Airtasker reported a 32.1% year-on-year increase in unprompted brand awareness (brand salience), alongside a direct return on investment of 1.08x from its above-the-line marketing efforts.
Financial results for Airtasker Australia further underscore this momentum, with revenue climbing 12.9% to $23.1 million.
The platform also achieved a record gross marketplace volume of $103.5 million, representing a 6.4% increase on the prior comparative period.
Additionally, the company’s monetisation rate saw a healthy improvement of 1.3 percentage points, reaching 22.3%.
By integrating with Nine’s multi-platform network, Airtasker aims to replicate the success of its existing partnerships with oOh!media and ARN.
The investment is positioned as a critical driver for achieving sustained double-digit revenue growth throughout FY26.
