
Air New Zealand appoints new CFO

Air New Zealand (ASX:AIZ) appointed Kris Cudmore as its new CFO starting on Aug. 3.
The appointment follows an extensive international search process to replace outgoing executive Richard Thomson, who served since early 2021.
“Kris has worked closely with the airline over recent years and has played an important role in helping shape our new strategy,” said Air New Zealand CEO Nikhil Ravishankar.
The company stated that the appointment coincides with the implementation of its new strategy titled Our Future | Te Pae Hou.
Following the announcement, the Air New Zealand share price was unchanged at $0.44.
Prior to this appointment, Cudmore served as the infrastructure, planning and commercial lead at the airline.
His previous experience includes senior finance and transformation roles at Spark New Zealand and Telstra.
