AI Data-Center Borrowing May Test Credit Market: Fortress

Brian Stewart, global co-head of corporate credit at Fortress, says the credit market could face a more serious absorption problem from AI data-center borrowing. Speaking on "Bloomberg Open Interest," Stewart says that U.S. investment-grade issuance recently reached a record, while the AI funding cycle has so far been driven mainly by venture capital, growth equity and investment-grade bonds.
